As part of its continued support to Member administrations in advancing good governance and institutional resilience, the WCO conducted a technical assistance mission on integrity with the Angolan General Tax Administration (AGT) in Luanda from 7–11 April 2025. The mission, delivered under the WCO’s integrity development framework, aimed to strengthen AGT’s internal capabilities in combating corruption and promoting ethical standards.

Through interactive workshops facilitated by integrity experts from Brazil and Spain, AGT engaged in open dialogue, training, and peer learning focused on risk management, investigations, and institutional best practices. The mission reaffirmed Angola’s commitment to aligning with WCO standards and leveraging Members’ experiences to reinforce integrity at all levels of its Customs operations.
