Under the framework of the EU-WCO RoO Africa Programme, the World Customs Organization (WCO) continues to strengthen regional capacity on preferential Rules of Origin through targeted technical assistance and training. In partnership with the Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA), a national Training of Trainers workshop was held in Windhoek from 7–11 April 2025.

This initiative forms part of ongoing support to enhance NamRA’s operational effectiveness and implementation of the AfCFTA and other key trade agreements. The training reflects the WCO’s broader commitment to building sustainable, local expertise across the ESA region — ensuring Customs administrations are equipped to lead trade facilitation efforts with professionalism, precision, and impact.
