In partnership with the AfCFTA Secretariat, the WCO-EU Rules of Origin Africa Programme has launched a new Rules of Origin (RoO) module to enhance the usability of the AfCFTA e-Tariff Book — a key digital tool supporting transparent and predictable market access across the continent.

This enhancement responds directly to findings from the 2024 PAFTRAC Africa CEO Trade Survey, which highlighted a major gap in accessible AfCFTA trade information for businesses. By integrating RoO provisions into this centralised platform, the updated e-Tariff Book aims to empower African traders with reliable, user-friendly resources to navigate the complexities of intra-African trade more effectively.
