Introduction: This release shares insights into the WCO’s mission to support the Mozambique Revenue Authority in modernising its human resource management practices through a competency-based approach. Supported by the Customs Cooperation Fund of China, the initiative assessed governance, legal frameworks, and HR systems to align talent development with organisational strategy and strengthen the MRA’s capacity to meet emerging customs and trade challenges.
